Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8355
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that, "Only that person wears silk in this world who has no hope of wearing it in the Hereafter, and only that person wears silk in this world who has no share in the Hereafter."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ دنیا میں تو وہی شخص ریشم پہنتا ہے جسے آخرت میں اسے پہننے کی امید نہ ہو اور دنیا میں وہی شخص ریشم پہنتا ہے جس کا آخرت میں کوئی حصہ نہ ہو۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki duniya mein to wohi shakhs resham pehenta hai jise aakhir mein ise pehenne ki umeed na ho aur duniya mein wohi shakhs resham pehenta hai jiska aakhir mein koi hissa na ho.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ: " إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَنْ لَا يَرْجُو أَنْ يَلْبَسَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، إِنَّمَا يَلْبَسُ الْحَرِيرَ مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَه" ، قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: فَمَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يَبْلُغُهُمْ هَذَا عَنْ نَبِيِّهِمْ فَيَجْعَلُونَ حَرِيرًا فِي ثِيَابِهِمْ وَفِي بُيُوتِهِمْ.
