Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8778
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Trim the mustache closely and grow the beard long.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مونچھیں خوب تراشا کرو اور داڑھی کو خوب بڑھایا کرو
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya moonchhen khoob tarasha karo aur dari ko khoob barhaya karo.
حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاء ِبن عبد الرحمن ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " جُزُّوا الشَّوَارِبَ، وَاعْفُوا اللِّحَى" .
