Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8785
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Trim the mustache and let the beard grow long, and oppose the Magians.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مونچھیں خوب تراشا کرو اور داڑھی کو خوب بڑھایا کرو اور مجوسیوں کی مخالفت کیا کرو۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya moonchhen khoob tarasha karo aur darhi ko khoob barhaya karo aur majusion ki mukhalfat kiya karo.
حَدَّثَنَا الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " جُزُّوا الشَّوَارِبَ، وَاعْفُوا اللِّحَى، وَخَالِفُوا الْمَجُوسَ" .
