Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8909
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Imam is a guardian and the Mu'adhdhin is entrusted with a trust. O Allah, guide the Imams and forgive the Mu'adhdhins."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا امام ضامن ہوتا ہے اور مؤذن امانت دار اے اللہ اماموں کی رہنمائی فرما اور موذنین کی مغفرت فرما۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah RA se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya imam zaman hota hai aur moazzin amanat dar hai Aye Allah imamon ki rehnumai farma aur moazzinon ki maghfirat farma.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ، وَالْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدْ الْأَئِمَّةَ، وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ" .
