Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8926
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Faith has sixty-odd branches, the most excellent and highest of which is to say La ilaha illallah (there is no god worthy of worship but Allah), and the slightest of which is removing a harmful thing from the road..”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ایمان کے چونسٹھ شعبے ہیں جن میں سب سے افضل اور اعلیٰ لا الہ الا اللہ کہنا ہے اور سب سے ہلکا شعبہ راستہ سے تکلیف دہ چیز کو ہٹانا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya eman ke chaunsath shubay hain jin mein sab se afzal aur aala la ilaha illallah kehna hai aur sab se halka shuba raaste se takleef deh cheez ko hatana hai.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " الْإِيمَانُ أَرْبَعَةٌ وَسِتُّونَ بَابًا، أَرْفَعُهَا وَأَعْلَاهَا قَوْلُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَدْنَاهَا إِمَاطَةُ الْأَذَى عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ" .
