Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 8968
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), that once he was in a state of impurity when he met the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He kept walking with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) until the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat down somewhere. Finding an opportunity, Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) slipped away, went to his tent, performed Ghusl (ritual bath) and came back to the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was still present there. Seeing him, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, “Where did you go?" Abu Hurairah replied, "I was in a state of impurity when I met you. I didn't feel comfortable sitting with you in that state, so I went and performed Ghusl (and now I have returned to your service)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah)! A believer is never impure."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ناپاکی کی حالت میں میری ملاقات نبی کریم ﷺ سے ہوگئی میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ چلتارہا یہاں تک کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ایک جگہ بیٹھ گئے میں موقع پا کر پیچھے سے کھسک گیا اور اپنے خیمے میں آکر غسل کیا اور دوبارہ بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوا نبی کریم ﷺ اس وقت بھی وہیں تشریف فرما تھے مجھے دیکھ کر پوچھنے لگے کہ تم کہاں چلے گئے تھے؟ میں نے عرض کیا کہ جس وقت آپ سے ملاقات ہوئی تھی میں ناپاکی حالت میں تھا مجھے ناپاکی کی حالت میں آپ کے ساتھ بیٹھتے ہوئے اچھا نہ لگا اس لئے میں چلا گیا اور غسل کیا (پھر آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا ہوں) نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا سبحان اللہ! مومن تو ناپاک نہیں ہوتا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba napaki ki halat mein meri mulaqat Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se hogayi mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath chalta raha yahan tak ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek jaga baith gaye mein mauqa pakar peeche se khisak gaya aur apne khaime mein aakar gusl kiya aur dobara bargah e nabuwat mein hazir hua Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) us waqt bhi wahin tashreef farma the mujhe dekh kar puchne lage ki tum kahan chale gaye the? Mein ne arz kiya ki jis waqt aapse mulaqat hui thi mein napaki halat mein tha mujhe napaki ki halat mein aap ke sath baithte huye achha na laga is liye mein chala gaya aur gusl kiya (phir aap ki khidmat mein hazir hua hun) Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Subhan Allah! Momin to napak nahin hota.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: لَقِيتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا جُنُبٌ، فَمَشَيْتُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى قَعَدَ، فَانْسَلَلْتُ فَأَتَيْتُ الرَّحْلَ، فَاغْتَسَلْتُ، ثُمَّ جِئْتُ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ، فَقَالَ:" أَيْنَ كُنْتَ؟" فَقُلْتُ: لَقِيتَنِي وَأَنَا جُنُبٌ، فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَجْلِسَ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَا جُنُبٌ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ فَاغْتَسَلْتُ، قَالَ:" سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ! إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لَا يَنْجُسُ" .
