The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)

مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9288

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever observes fasts during Ramadan, out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.


Grade: Sahih

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص ایمان کی حالت میں اور ثواب کی نیت سے رمضان میں قیام کرے اس کے گزشتہ سارے گناہ معاف ہوجاتے ہیں۔

aur nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs imaan ki halat mein aur sawab ki niyat se ramazan mein qayam kare us ke guzishta sare gunah maaf hojate hain.

قَالَ: وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا، فَإِنَّهُ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ" .
