The Musnad of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him)
مسنَد اَبِی هرَیرَةَ رَضِیَ اللَّه عَنه
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9434
And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The one who believes in Allah and the Last Day cannot bear malice towards the Ansar. If it were not for Hijrah (migration to Medina), I would have been one of the Ansar. If people were walking in one valley and the Ansar in another, I would walk in the valley of the Ansar. The Ansar are my inner garment and the general people are the outer garment."

اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ شخص انصار سے بغض نہیں رکھ سکتا جو اللہ پر اور یوم آخرت پر ایمان رکھتا ہو، اگر ہجرت نہ ہوتی تو میں انصار کا ایک فرد ہوتا، اگر لوگ ایک وادی میں چل رہے ہوں اور انصاری دوسری وادی میں تو میں انصار کے ساتھ ان کی وادی میں چلوں گا انصار میرا اندر کا کپڑا ہیں اور عام لوگ باہر کا کپڑا ہیں۔
Aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya woh shakhs Ansar se bughz nahin rakh sakta jo Allah par aur Yaum Aakhirat par imaan rakhta ho, agar hijrat na hoti to main Ansar ka ek fard hota, agar log ek wadi mein chal rahe hon aur Ansari dusri wadi mein to main Ansar ke sath unki wadi mein chaloon ga Ansar mera andar ka kapda hain aur aam log bahar ka kapda hain.
وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يُبْغِضُ الْأَنْصَارَ رَجُلٌ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، وَلَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، وَلَوْ سَلَكَتِ الْأَنْصَارُ وَادِيًا أَوْ شِعْبًا لَسَلَكْتُ وَادِيَهُمْ أَوْ شِعْبَهُمْ، الْأَنْصَارُ شِعَارِي، وَالنَّاسُ دِثَارِي" .
