Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9706
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever breaks the fast of Ramadan without an excuse or illness, even if he fasts for the rest of his life, it will not compensate for it.”

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص بغیر کسی عذر کے رمضان کا ایک روزہ چھوڑ دے یا توڑ دے ساری عمر کے روزے بھی اس ایک روزے کے بدلے کفایت نہیں کرسکتے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs baghair kisi uzr ke Ramzan ka ek roza chhor de ya tod de sari umar ke rozy bhi is ek rozy ke badle kafaayat nahin karsakte.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُطَوِّسِ ، عَنِ الْمُطَوِّسِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْمًا مِنْ رَمَضَانَ مِنْ غَيْرِ رُخْصَةٍ، لَمْ يَجْزِهِ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ" .
