Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9784
Narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, Tufail bin Amr Dausi (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with his companions and said: "O Messenger of Allah, the people of the tribe of Daus persist in disobedience and denial." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed: "O Allah! Guide the tribe of Daus and bring them here."

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ طفیل بن عمرو دوسی رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے ساتھیوں کے ہمراہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور کہنے لگے کہ قبیلہ دوس کے لوگ نافرمانی اور انکار پر ڈٹے ہوئے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ دعاء فرمائی کہ اے اللہ! قبیلہ دوس کو ہدایت عطا فرما اور انہیں یہاں پہنچا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Tufail bin Amr Dausi razi Allah anhu apne saathiyon ke hamrah Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur kahne lage ki qabeela Daus ke log nafarmani aur inkar par date hue hain Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye dua farmaee ki aye Allah qabeela Daus ko hidayat ata farma aur unhen yahan pahuncha.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَة ، قَالَ: لَمَّا قَدِمَ الطُّفَيْلُ وَأَصْحَابُهُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: إِنَّ دَوْسًا قَدْ اسْتَعْصَتْ. قَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ دَوْسًا، وَأْتِ بِهِمْ" .
