Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 9953
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prohibited offering voluntary prayers from after the Asr prayer until sunset. Similarly, he also prohibited offering prayers from after Fajr prayer until sunrise.

حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے نماز عصر کے بعد غروب آفتاب تک نوافل پڑھنے سے منع فرمایا ہے اسی طرح نماز فجر کے بعد طلوع آفتاب تک بھی نماز کی ممانعت فرمائی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz Asr ke baad ghuroob aftab tak nawafil parhne se mana farmaya hai isi tarah namaz Fajr ke baad tulua aftab tak bhi namaz ki mamanat farmaee hai.
قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ : مَالِكٌ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ، قََالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ، وَعَنِ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ" .
