Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 12186
It is narrated on the authority of Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The most merciful of my Ummah is Abu Bakr, and the most strict in the religion of Allah is Umar, and the most truthful in modesty is Uthman, and the most knowledgeable of the obligations (of Islam) is Zaid, and the one who recites the most is Ubayy, and the most knowledgeable of what is lawful and unlawful is Muadh, and verily, for every Ummah there is a trustee, and the trustee of this Ummah is Abu Ubaidah bin Al-Jarrah (may Allah be pleased with him).

(١٢١٨٦) حضرت انس بن مالک (رض) سے منقول ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میری امت میں سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے ابوبکر اور اللہ کے دین میں سب سے سخت عمر ہیں اور حیا میں سب سے سچے عثمان اور سب سے زیادہ فرائض کا علم رکھنے والے زید ہیں اور سب سے زیادہ تلاوت کرنے والے اُبی ہیں اور حرام اور حلال کو سب سے زیادہ جاننے والے معاذ ہیں اور بیشک ہر امت کے لیے ایک امین ہے اور اس امت کے امین ابو عبیدہ بن جراح (رض) ہیں۔
(12186) Hazrat Anas bin Malik (RA) se manqol hai keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : meri ummat mein sab se zyada reham karne wale Abubakar aur Allah ke deen mein sab se sakht Umar hain aur haya mein sab se sache Usman aur sab se zyada faraiz ka ilm rakhne wale Zaid hain aur sab se zyada tilawat karne wale Ubi hain aur haram aur halal ko sab se zyada jaanne wale Moaz hain aur beshak har ummat ke liye ek ameen hai aur is ummat ke ameen Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah (RA) hain.
١٢١٨٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ، أنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَخْتَرِيُّ الرَّزَّازُ، ثنا حَنْبَلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، وَعَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ،عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَرْحَمُ أُمَّتِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَأَشَدُّهُمْ فِي دِينِ اللهِ عُمَرُ، وَأَصْدَقُهُمْ حَيَاءً عُثْمَانُ، وَأَفْرَضُهُمْ زَيْدٌ، وَأَقْرَؤُهُمْ أُبَيٌّ، وَأَعْلَمُهُمْ بِالْحَلَالِ وَالْحَرَامِ مُعَاذٌ، وَإِنَّ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَمِينًا، وَأَمِينُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ "⦗٣٤٦⦘ وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ قُطْبَةُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ مَوْصُولًا، وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ وَعَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ الثَّقَفِيُّ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ مَوْصُولًا
