Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 15158
Sulaiman bin Yasar narrates that Nafi was the freed slave of Umm Salama. He was married to a free woman. When he divorced her twice and intended to return to her, Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "Go and ask Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him)." So he found Uthman on the steps of the Ka'aba while he was holding the hand of Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him). Nafi' asked them both, and they quickly said: "She has become unlawful for you, she has become unlawful for you."

(١٥١٥٨) سلیمان بن یسار فرماتے ہیں کہ نفیع ام سلمہ کا مکاتب غلام تھا، اس کے نکاح میں آزاد عورت تھی۔ اسے دو طلاق دے کر رجوع کا ارادہ کیا تو ازواج مطہرات (رض) نے فرمایا : حضرت عثمان بن عفان (رض) سے پوچھ کر آؤ تو وہ حضرت عثمان کو بیت اللہ کی سیڑھیوں پر ملا، جب انھوں نے حضرت زید بن ثابت (رض) کا ہاتھ پکڑا ہوا تھا، ان دونوں سے نفیع نے پوچھا تو جلدی سے فرمانے لگے : وہ تیرے اوپر حرام ہوگئی، وہ تیرے اوپر حرام ہوگئی۔
(15158) Sulaiman bin Yasar farmate hain ke Nafe Umme Salma ka katib ghulam tha, us ke nikah mein azad aurat thi. Use do talaq de kar ruju ka irada kiya to azwaj mutahirat (Raz) ne farmaya: Hazrat Usman bin Affan (Raz) se puchh kar aao to wo Hazrat Usman ko Baitullah ki seedhiyon par mila, jab unhon ne Hazrat Zaid bin Sabit (Raz) ka hath pakra hua tha, un donon se Nafe ne puchha to jaldi se farmane lage: Wo tere upar haram hogayi, wo tere upar haram hogayi.
١٥١٥٨ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي نا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ، أنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنا الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنا مَالِكٌ، ح وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الْمِهْرَجَانِيُّ، أنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ⦗٦٠٤⦘ جَعْفَرٍ الْمُزَكِّي نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، نا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، نا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ نُفَيْعًا، مُكَاتَبًا كَانَ لِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ عَبْدًا كَانَتْ تَحْتَهُ امْرَأَةٌ حُرَّةٌ وَطَلَّقَهَا اثْنَتَيْنِ،وَأَرَادَ أَنْ يُرَاجِعَهَا فَأَمَرَهُ أَزْوَاجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ فَيَسْأَلَهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَذَهَبَ فَلَقِيَهُ عِنْدَ الدَّرَجِ آخِذًا بِيَدِ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ فَسَأَلَهُمَا فَابْتَدَرَاهُ جَمِيعًا فَقَالَا:" حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكَ "
