Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 1579
Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: There was a woman in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who was experiencing constant bleeding. Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) said to her: "Ask the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "She should count the number of days and nights of her usual menses, and for that period in each month she should stop praying. Then, she should perform ghusl, apply a cotton pad (or similar) to absorb the bleeding, and pray.

(١٥٧٩) سیدہ ام سلمہ (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ ایک عورت نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے زمانہ میں مسلسل خون بہاتی تھی، اسے سیدہ ام سلمہ (رض) نے کہا : رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھ لے، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : دنوں اور راتوں کی گنتی کو دیکھے جو مہینے میں پہلے اس کو حیض آتا تھا اتنے دن نماز چھوڑ دے ، پھر غسل کر اور کپڑے سے لنگوٹ باندھ کر نماز پڑھ۔ “
Sayyida Umme Salma (Razi Allah Tala Anha) se riwayat hai ki ek aurat Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke zamane mein musalsal khoon bahati thi, use Sayyida Umme Salma (Razi Allah Tala Anha) ne kaha: Rasulullah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se puchh le, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Dinon aur raaton ki ginti ko dekhe jo mahine mein pehle usko haiz aata tha utne din namaz chhor de, phir ghusl kar aur kapde se langot baandh kar namaz parh.
١٥٧٩ - وَأَمَّا حَدِيثُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ فَأَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ،أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَتْ تُهَرَاقُ الدِّمَاءَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ لَهَا أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ:سَلِي رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:" لِتَنْظُرْ عَدَدَ الْأَيَّامِ وَاللَّيَالِي الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَحِيضُهُنَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَكُونَ بِهَا الَّذِي كَانَ بِهَا وَقَدْرَهُنَّ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ فَلْتَتْرُكِ الصَّلَاةَ قَدْرَ ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ قَدْرُهَا فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ، ثُمَّ لْتَسْتَثْفِرْ بِثَوْبِهَا، ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي "
