Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 16825
Ubaidullah bin Adi bin Khayar narrated that a man was whispering to the Prophet (ﷺ). It is not known what he was saying. When the Prophet (ﷺ) himself revealed that he was asking about killing the hypocrites, he (ﷺ) said: “Don't they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Why not!" He (ﷺ) asked: “Don’t they offer prayer?" He said: "Why not, but it doesn’t benefit them!" So, you (ﷺ) said: "I have been forbidden from killing them."

(١٦٨٢٥) عبیداللہ بن عدی بن خیار کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سرگوشی کررہا تھا۔ یہ نہیں پتہ کیا کہہ رہا تھا۔ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے خود ظاہر کیا کہ وہ منافقین کو قتل کرنے کے بارے میں پوچھ رہا تھا تو آپ نے فرمایا : کیا وہ کلمہ نہیں پڑھتے ؟ کہا : کیوں نہیں ! پوچھا : نماز نہیں پڑھتے ؟ کہا : کیوں نہیں، لیکن اس کا انھیں کوئی فائدہ تو نہیں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ان کو قتل کرنے سے مجھے منع کیا گیا ہے۔
Obaidullah bin Adi bin Khiyar kehte hain ki ek shakhs Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se sargosi kar raha tha. Yeh nahin pata kya keh raha tha. Jab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne khud zahir kiya ki woh munafiqeen ko qatl karne ke baare mein pooch raha tha to aap ne farmaya : kya woh kalma nahin parhte? Kaha : kyun nahin! Poocha : namaz nahin parhte? Kaha : kyun nahin, lekin iska unhen koi faida to nahin to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : un ko qatl karne se mujhe mana kiya gaya hai.
١٦٨٢٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ،قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ، أنبأ مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَدِيِّ بْنِ الْخِيَارِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَارَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمْ نَدْرِ مَا سَارَّهُ بِهِ حَتَّى جَهَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ يَسْتَأْمِرُهُ فِي قَتْلِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُنَافِقِينِ،فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَلَيْسَ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ؟ "قَالَ: بَلَى، وَلَا شَهَادَةَ لَهُ،قَالَ:" أَلَيْسَ يُصَلِّي؟ "قَالَ: بَلَى، وَلَا صَلَاةَ لَهُ،فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ نَهَانِي اللهُ عَنْهُمْ "
