Muhammad bin Abdullah said: When Muslim Khulani went for Hajj, he visited Aisha (ra). She inquired about Syria and its cold weather, asking: How do they bear the cold? He replied: O Mother of the Believers! They drink a beverage called "Tila". So she said: Allah has spoken the truth and my beloved (Prophet) conveyed it. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: My Ummah will consume intoxicants, but they will give it different names.

(١٧٣٨٢) محمد بن عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب مسلم خولانی حج پر گئے تو حضرت عائشہ (رض) کے پاس آئے۔ آپ ان سے شام اور وہاں کی سردی کے متعلق پوچھنے لگیں اور پوچھا : وہ یہ سردی کیسے برداشت کرتے ہیں ؟ کہا : اے ام المؤمنین ! وہ طلاء نامی مشروب پیتے ہیں۔ تو آپ نے فرمایا : اللہ نے سچ فرمایا اور میرے محبوب نے پہنچایا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میری امت کے لوگ شراب پییں گے لیکن اس کا نام دوسرا رکھ دیں گے۔

١٧٣٨٢ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ،قَالَا:ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أنبأ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ، أنبأ ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَشِيطٍ الْوَعْلَانِيُّ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلَالٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُسْلِمٍ الْخَوْلَانِيَّ، حَجَّ فَدَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَجَعَلَتْ تَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الشَّامِ وَعَنْ بَرْدِهَا، فَجَعَلَ يُخْبِرُهَا،فَقَالَتْ:كَيْفَ تَصْبِرُونَ عَلَى بَرْدِهَا؟فَقَالَ:يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَّهُمْ يَشْرَبُونَ شَرَابًا لَهُمْ يُقَالُ لَهُ الطِّلَاءُ،فَقَالَتْ:صَدَقَ اللهُ، وَبَلَّغَ حِبِّي،سَمِعْتُ حِبِّي رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:" إِنَّ أُنَاسًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَشْرَبُونَ الْخَمْرَ يُسَمُّونَهَا بِغَيْرِ اسْمِهَا "
