Chapter: What is mentioned about the child of a runaway female slave after her reparation.
باب: ما جاء في ولد المدبرة من غير سيدها بعد تدبيرها
Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 21588
Dawud ibn Abi Hind narrated from Sha'bi that the children of a mudabbarah (a female slave whose owner has promised her freedom upon his death) and an umm al-walad (a female slave who has borne a child to her master) inherit their respective mothers' status.

(٢١٥٨٨) داؤد بن ابی ہند شعبی سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ مدبرہ، ام الولد ان دونوں کی اولاد ان کے مرتبہ میں ہے۔

٢١٥٨٨ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ، أنبأ زَاهِرٌ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ،وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْغَزِّيُّ قَالَا:ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ،فِي الْمُدَبَّرَةِ وَأُمِّ الْوَلَدِ:" أَوْلَادُهُمَا بِمَنْزِلَتِهِمَا ". وَرُوِّينَاهُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَالزُّهْرِيِّ وَالنَّخَعِيِّ.
