Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 6900
Khuza'i bin Abdullah bin Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Abdullah bin Mughaffal said, "My companions should attend to me (when I die) and Ibn Ziyad should not offer the funeral prayer for me." It is said that he had as guardians Abu Barzah, 'Aidh bin 'Amr and some other companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).

(٦٩٠٠) خزاعی بن عبداللہ بن مغفل (رض) کہتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن مغفل نے فرمایا : مجھے میرے ساتھی ملیں اور میرا جنازہ ابن زیاد نہ پڑھائے کہتے ہیں کہ ان کے سرپرست بنا ابو برزہ اور عائذ بن عمرو اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ میں سیکچھ لوگ تھے۔
Khazaee bin Abd Allah bin Mughfal (RA) kehte hain ke Abdullah bin Mughfal ne farmaya: mujhe mere saathi milay aur mera janaza Ibn Ziad na parhaye. Kehte hain ke un ke sarparast bana Abu Barzah aur Aidh bin Amr aur Rasool Allah (SAW) ke sahaba mein se kuch log thay.
٦٩٠٠ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا عَوْفٌ، عَنْ خُزَاعِيٍّ،مِنْ وَلَدِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ:أَوْصَى عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُغَفَّلٍ قَالَ:" لِيَلِيَنِي أَصْحَابِي وَلَا يُصَلِّي عَلَيَّ ابْنُ زِيَادٍ "،قَالَ:فَوَلِيَهُ أَبُو بَرْزَةَ، وَعَائِذُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو وَنَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيهِ وَسَلَّمَ
