Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'When the Imam is delivering the Khutba and you ask your companion to keep quiet and listen, then no doubt you have done an evil act.'
حضرت ابوہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’اگر تو نے دوران خطبہ میں اپنے ساتھی سے کہہ دیا کہ خاموش رہ، تو نے لغو اور بے ہودہ بات کی۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Agar tu ne douran-e-khutba mein apne sathi se keh diya ke khamosh reh, tu ne lagh-v aur be-hooda baat ki.' '
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : إِذَا قُلْتَ لِصَاحِبِكَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَنْصِتْ وَالْإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ فَقَدْ لَغَوْتَ .
