Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, he who slaps his cheeks, tears his clothes and follows the ways and traditions of the days of ignorance is not one of us.’
حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود ؓ سے روایت ہے،انھوں نےکہا:نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا:’’جو شخص اپنے رخسار پیٹے اور گریبان پھاڑے، نیز عہد جاہلیت کی طرح چیخ پکار کرے وہ ہم سے نہیں۔‘‘
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ood (Radhi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Jo shakhs apne rukhsar peete aur gareban phare, neez ehd-e-jahiliyat ki tarah cheekh pukar kare woh hum se nahi.''
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُبَيْدٌ الْيَامِيُّ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ , قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَطَمَ الْخُدُودَ وَشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ .
