Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) made Dhul-Huiaifa as the Miqat for the people of Medina; Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham; Qarn-al-Manazil for the people of Najd; and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen; and these Mawaqit are for the people at those very places, and besides them for those who come thorough those places with the intention of performing Hajj and `Umra; and whoever is living within these boundaries can assume lhram from the place he starts, and the people of Mecca can assume Ihram from Mecca.
حضرت ابن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے فرمایا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اہل مدینہ کے لیے ذوالحلیفہ کو میقات بنایا، اہل شام کے لیے جحفہ، اہل نجد کے لیے قرن المنازل اور اہل یمن کے لیے یلملم کو میقات مقرر کیا۔ یہ میقات ان مقامات کے باشندوں کے لیے ہیں اور ان لوگوں کے لیے بھی جو حج و عمرہ کا ارادہ کرتے ہوئے وہاں سے گزریں۔ اور جو لوگ ان مقامات کے اندر کی جانب ہیں وہ جہاں سے چلیں وہیں سے احرام باندھیں، چنانچہ اہل مکہ، مکہ ہی سے احرام باندھ کر چلیں۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya ke Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ahl-e-Madina ke liye Dhul Hulaifa ko miqat banaya, ahl-e-Sham ke liye Juhfa, ahl-e-Najd ke liye Qarn al-Manazil aur ahl-e-Yaman ke liye Yalamlam ko miqat muqarrar kiya. Yeh miqat in maqamat ke bashindon ke liye hain aur in logon ke liye bhi jo hajj o umrah ka irada karte hue wahan se guzrein. Aur jo log in maqamat ke andar ki janib hain wo jahan se chalein wahin se ihram bandhein, chunancha ahl-e-Makka, Makka hi se ihram bandh kar chalein.
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَّتَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّأْمِ الْجُحْفَةَ ، وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنَ الْمَنَازِلِ ، وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ هُنَّ لَهُنَّ وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِنَّ مِنْ غَيْرِهِنَّ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ دُونَ ذَلِكَ فَمِنْ حَيْثُ أَنْشَأَ حَتَّى أَهْلُ مَكَّةَ مِنْ مَكَّةَ .
