Amr bin Yahya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated on the authority of his father that Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) poured water on his hands from a utensil containing water and washed them and then with one handful of water he rinsed his mouth and cleaned his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out. He repeated it thrice. He, then, washed his hands and forearms up to the elbows twice and passed wet hands over his head, both forwards and backwards, and washed his feet up to the ankles and said, "This is the ablution of Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)."
حضرت عبداللہ بن زید ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے برتن سے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں پر پانی انڈیلا اور ان کو دھویا، پھر دھویا۔ یا (یوں کہا کہ) ایک ہی چلو سے کلی کی اور ناک میں پانی ڈالا، تین بار ایسا کیا۔ پھر دونوں ہاتھوں کو کہنیوں تک دو، دو بار دھویا اور سر پر مسح کیا آگے اور پیچھے دونوں طرف سے۔ اور دونوں پاؤں ٹخنوں تک دھوئے، پھر کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ اس طرح وضو کیا کرتے تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، أَنَّهُ أَفْرَغَ مِنَ الْإِنَاءِ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ أَوْ مَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ مِنْ كَفَّةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثًا ، فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ مَا أَقْبَلَ وَمَا أَدْبَرَ ، وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : هَكَذَا وُضُوءُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
