Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that on the day of the battle of Uhud the pagans were defeated completely. Then Satan shouted, ‘O Allah's servants, beware the ones behind you.’ So, the front files attacked the back ones. Then Hudhaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) looked and saw his father, and said loudly, ‘O Allah's servants, my father, my father.’ By Allah, they did not stop till they killed him (Hudaifa's father). Hudhaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘may Allah forgive you.’ The sub-narrator said, ‘by Allah, because of what Hudhaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, he remained in a good state till he met Allah (died).
حضرت عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: جب غزوہ اُحد میں مشرکین شکست خوردہ ہو کر بھاگنے لگے تو ابلیس نے چلا کر کہا: اللہ کے بندو! اپنے پیچھے والوں کو قتل کرو۔ آگے والے مسلمان پیچھے والے مسلمانوں پر ٹوٹ پڑے اور گھمسان کی جنگ ہونے لگی۔ اس دوران میں حضرت حذیفہ ؓ نے اپنے والد گرامی کو دیکھا (کہ مسلمان انہیں قتل کر رہے ہیں) توبہ آواز بلند کہا: اللہ کے بندو! یہ میرے والد گرامی ہیں۔ یہ میرے باپ ہیں۔ لیکن لوگ نہ رُکے حتی کہ انہوں نے ان کو قتل کر دیا۔ حضرت حذیفہ ؓ نے فرمایا: اللہ تعالٰی تمہیں معاف فرمائے۔ ہشام کے والد عروہ نے کہا: اللہ کی قسم! اس کے باعث ہمیشہ دعا کرتے رہتے حتی کہ اللہ کو پیارے ہو گئے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Jab Ghazwa-e-Uhud mein mushrikeen shikast khurda ho kar bhagne lage to Iblees ne chilla kar kaha: Allah ke bando! Apne peeche walon ko qatl karo. Aage wale Musalman peeche wale Musalmanon par toot pare aur gham-saan ki jung hone lagi. Is douran mein Hazrat Hudhaifah (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne apne walid-e-girami ko dekha (ke Musalman unhein qatl kar rahe hain) to ba-awaz-e-buland kaha: Allah ke bando! Yeh mere walid-e-girami hain. Yeh mere baap hain. Lekin log na ruke hatta ke unhon ne un ko qatl kar diya. Hazrat Hudhaifah (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne farmaya: Allah Ta'ala tumhein maaf farmaye. Hisham ke walid Urwa ne kaha: Allah ki qasam! Is ke ba'is hamesha dua karte rehte hatta ke Allah ko pyare ho gaye.
حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ خَلِيلٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ هُزِمَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ هَزِيمَةً بَيِّنَةً , فَصَاحَ إِبْلِيسُ أَيْ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ أُخْرَاكُمْ فَرَجَعَتْ أُولَاهُمْ عَلَى أُخْرَاهُمْ , فَاجْتَلَدَتْ أُخْرَاهُمْ , فَنَظَرَ حُذَيْفَةُ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِأَبِيهِ فَنَادَى أَيْ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ أَبِي أَبِي ، فَقَالَتْ : فَوَاللَّهِ مَا احْتَجَزُوا حَتَّى قَتَلُوهُ ، فَقَالَ : حُذَيْفَةُ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ ، قَالَ أَبِي : فَوَاللَّهِ مَا زَالَتْ فِي حُذَيْفَةَ مِنْهَا بَقِيَّةُ خَيْرٍ حَتَّى لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ .
