Abu Sa`id ( رضي الله تعالیعنہ) narrated that some people from the Ansar asked Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) (to give them something) and he gave to every one of them, who asked him, until all that he had was finished. When everything was finished and he had spent all that was in his hand, he said to them, ‘(know) that if I have any wealth, I will not withhold it from you (to keep for somebody else); and (know) that he who refrains from begging others (or doing prohibited deeds), Allah will make him contented and not in need of others; and he who remains patient, Allah will bestow patience upon him, and he who is satisfied with what he has, Allah will make him self-sufficient. And there is no gift better and vast (you may be given) than patience.’
حضرت ابو سعید خدری ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ انصار میں سے چند لوگوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے کچھ مانگا۔ جس نے بھی آپ سے جو مانگا آپ نے اسے دیا حتی کہ جو مال آپ کے پاس تھا وہ ختم ہو گیا۔ جب سب کچھ ختم ہو گیا جو آپ نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں سے دیا تھا تو آپ نے فرمایا: ”جو اچھی چیز میرے پاس ہے وہ میں تم سے چھپا کر نہیں رکھتا۔ لیکن بات یہ ہے کہ جو تم میں سے بچتا رہے گا اللہ اس کو بچائے گا۔ جو صبر کرنا چاہے اللہ اسے صبر دے گا اور جو کوئی غنا چاہتا ہے اللہ اسے مستغنی کر دے گا۔ اور تمہیں اللہ کی نعمت صبر سے بڑھ کر کوئی چیز نہیں ملی۔“
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne bayan kiya ke Ansar mein se chand logon ne Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se kuch manga. Jis ne bhi Aap se jo manga Aap ne ise diya hatta ke jo maal Aap ke paas tha woh khatm ho gaya. Jab sab kuch khatm ho gaya jo Aap ne apne dono hathon se diya tha toh Aap ne farmaya: 'Jo achi cheez mere paas hai woh main tum se chhupa kar nahi rakhta. Lekin baat yeh hai ke jo tum mein se bachta rahe ga Allah us ko bachaye ga. Jo sabr karna chahe Allah use sabr dega aur jo koi ghina chahta hai Allah use mustaghni kar dega. Aur tumhein Allah ki nemat sabr se badh kar koi cheez nahi mili.'
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيُّ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ ، أَخْبَرَهُ : أَنَّ أُنَاسًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ سَأَلُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلَمْ يَسْأَلْهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ حَتَّى نَفِدَ مَا عِنْدَهُ ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ حِينَ نَفِدَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ : أَنْفَقَ بِيَدَيْهِ مَا يَكُنْ عِنْدِي مِنْ خَيْرٍ لَا أَدَّخِرْهُ عَنْكُمْ ، وَإِنَّهُ مَنْ يَسْتَعِفَّ يُعِفَّهُ اللَّهُ ، وَمَنْ يَتَصَبَّرْ يُصَبِّرْهُ اللَّهُ ، وَمَنْ يَسْتَغْنِ يُغْنِهِ اللَّهُ ، وَلَنْ تُعْطَوْا عَطَاءً خَيْرًا وَأَوْسَعَ مِنَ الصَّبْرِ .
