Narrated Abu Sa`id: The Prophet said, Allah will say, 'O Adam!. Adam will reply, 'Labbaik and Sa`daik (I respond to Your Calls, I am obedient to Your orders), wal Khair fi Yadaik (and all the good is in Your Hands)!' Then Allah will say (to Adam), Bring out the people of the Fire.' Adam will say, 'What (how many) are the people of the Fire?' Allah will say, 'Out of every thousand (take out) nine hundred and ninety-nine (persons).' At that time children will become hoary-headed and every pregnant female will drop her load (have an abortion) and you will see the people as if they were drunk, yet not drunk; But Allah's punishment will be very severe. That news distressed the companions of the Prophet too much, and they said, O Allah's Apostle! Who amongst us will be that man (the lucky one out of one-thousand who will be saved from the Fire)? He said, Have the good news that one-thousand will be from Gog and Magog, and the one (to be saved will be) from you. The Prophet added, By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, I Hope that you (Muslims) will be one third of the people of Paradise. On that, we glorified and praised Allah and said, Allahu Akbar. The Prophet then said, By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, I hope that you will be one half of the people of Paradise, as your (Muslims) example in comparison to the other people (non-Muslims), is like that of a white hair on the skin of a black ox, or a round hairless spot on the foreleg of a donkey.
حضرت ابو سعید خدری ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالٰی فرمائے گا: اے آدم ؑ عرض کریں گے: میں سعادت مندی کے ساتھ حاضر ہوں، ہر بھلائی تیرے ہاتھ میں ہے اللہ تعالٰی فرمائے گا۔ آگ کا لشکر الگ کر دو۔ حضرت آدم ؑ عرض کریں گے: جہنم کا لشکر کس قدر ہے؟ اللہ تعالٰی فرمائے گا: ہر ہزار میں سے نو سو ننانوے۔ یہی وہ وقت ہوگا جب بچے بوڑھے ہو جائیں گے اور ہر حمل والی عورت اپنا حمل گرا دے گی اور تم لوگوں کو نشے کی حالت میں دیکھو گے، حالانکہ وہ نشے کی حالت میں نہیں ہوں گے بلکہ اللہ کا عذاب سخت ہوگا۔“ صحابہ کرام کو یہ بات بہت سخت معلوم ہوئی تو انہوں نے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! ”تمہیں بشارت ہو ایک ہزار یاجوج ماجوج سے ہوں گے اور تم میں سے وہ ایک جنتی ہوگا۔“ پھر آپ نے فرمایا: اس ذات کی قسم! ”جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے مجھے امید ہے کہ تم لوگ اہل جنت کا ایک تہائی ہوگے۔“ راوی کہتا ہے کہ ہم نے اللہ تعالٰی کی حمد وثناء کی اور نعرہ تکبیر بلند کیا، پھر آپ نے فرمایا: ”اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے! مجھےامید ہے کہ آدھا حصہ اہل جنت کا تم ہوگے۔ دوسری امتوں کے مقابلے میں تمہاری مثال ایسے ہے جیسے سیاہ بیل کی جلد پر ایک سفید بال ہویا وہ سفید داغ جو گدھے کے اگلے پاؤں میں ہوتا ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (Razi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhon ne kaha ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: 'Allah Ta'ala farmaye ga: Ae Adam! Adam (Alaihis Salam) arz karein ge: Main saadat-mandi ke saath hazir hoon, har bhalai Tere hath mein hai. Allah Ta'ala farmaye ga: Aag ka lashkar alag kar do. Hazrat Adam (Alaihis Salam) arz karein ge: Jahannam ka lashkar kis qadar hai? Allah Ta'ala farmaye ga: Har hazar mein se nau sau ninnanve. Yahi woh waqt hoga jab bache budhe ho jayein ge aur har hamal wali aurat apna hamal gira de gi aur tum logon ko nashe ki halat mein dekho ge, halanke woh nashe ki halat mein nahi hon ge balkeh Allah ka azab sakht hoga.' Sahaba Kiram ko yeh baat bohat sakht maloom hui toh unhon ne poocha: Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! 'Tumhein khushkhabri ho ek hazar Ya'jooj Ma'jooj se hon ge aur tum mein se woh ek jannati hoga.' Phir Aap ne farmaya: Us Zaat ki qasam! 'jis ke hath mein meri jaan hai mujhe umeed hai ke tum log ahl-e-jannat ka ek tihayi ho ge.' Rawi kehta hai ke hum ne Allah Ta'ala ki hamd-o-sana ki aur nara-e-takbeer buland kiya, phir Aap ne farmaya: 'Us Zaat ki qasam jis ke hath mein meri jaan hai! mujhe umeed hai ke aadha hissa ahl-e-jannat ka tum ho ge. Dusri ummato ke muqable mein tumhari misal aise hai jaise siyah bail ki jild par ek sufaid baal ho ya woh sufaid daagh jo gadhe ke agle paon mein hota hai.'
حَدَّثَنِي يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ اللَّهُ : يَا آدَمُ ، فَيَقُولُ : لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ ، قَالَ : يَقُولُ : أَخْرِجْ بَعْثَ النَّارِ ، قَالَ : وَمَا بَعْثُ النَّارِ ؟ قَالَ : مِنْ كُلِّ أَلْفٍ تِسْعَ مِائَةٍ وَتِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ ، فَذَاكَ حِينَ يَشِيبُ الصَّغِيرُ ، وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا ، وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سَكْرَى وَمَا هُمْ بِسَكْرَى وَلَكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ شَدِيدٌ ، فَاشْتَدَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ ، فَقَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَيُّنَا ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ ؟ قَالَ : أَبْشِرُوا فَإِنَّ مِنْ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ أَلْفًا وَمِنْكُمْ رَجُلٌ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، إِنِّي لَأَطْمَعُ أَنْ تَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، قَالَ : فَحَمِدْنَا اللَّهَ وَكَبَّرْنَا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، إِنِّي لَأَطْمَعُ أَنْ تَكُونُوا شَطْرَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ ، إِنَّ مَثَلَكُمْ فِي الْأُمَمِ كَمَثَلِ الشَّعَرَةِ الْبَيْضَاءِ فِي جِلْدِ الثَّوْرِ الْأَسْوَدِ ، أَوِ الرَّقْمَةِ فِي ذِرَاعِ الْحِمَارِ .
