Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that while we were in the mosque, Allah's Apostle ( صلىہللا عليه و آله وسلم) came out to us and said, ‘let us proceed to the Jews.’ So we went along with him till we reached Bait-al-Midras (a place where the Torah used to be recited and all the Jews of the town used to gather). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) stood up and addressed them, ‘O Assembly of Jews, embrace Islam and you will be safe!’ The Jews replied, ‘O Aba-l-Qasim ( صلىہللا عليه و آله وسلم), you have conveyed Allah's message to us.’ The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘that is what I want (from you).’ He repeated his first statement for the second time, and they said, ‘you have conveyed Allah's message, O Aba-l-Qasim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). Then he said it for the third time and added, ‘you should Know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), and I want to exile you from this land, so whoever among you owns some property, can sell it, otherwise you should know that the Earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).’
حضرت ابو ہریرہ ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: ایک دفعہ ہم مسجد میں تھے کہ اس دوران میں رسول اللہ ﷺ ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے اور فرمایا: ”یہودیوں کے پاس چلو۔“ ہم آپ کے ساتھ روانہ ہوئے، جب ہم بیت المدراس پہنچے تو نبی ﷺ نے ان کو آواز دی: ”اے قوم یہود! اسلام قبول کر لو تم سلامتی میں رہو گے۔“ انہوں نے کہا: اے ابو القاسم! آپ نے حکم پہنچا دیا۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہی میرا ارادہ تھا۔“ پھر آپ نے دوبارہ فرمایا تو انہوں نےکہا: اے ابو القاسم! آپ نے تبلیغ کر دی۔ آپ ﷺ نے تیسری مرتبہ یہی فرمایا: ”پھر آپ نے انہیں وارننگ دی اور فرمایا: تمہیں معلوم ہونا چاہیے کہ زمین اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی ہے اور میں تمہیں جلاوطن کرنا چاہتا ہوں، تم میں سے جس کے پاس مال ہو اسے چاہیے کہ جلاوطن ہونے سے پہلے پہلے اسے فروخت کر دے بصورت دیگر تمہیں معلوم ہونا چاہیے کہ یہ زمین اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhone kaha: Ek dafa hum masjid mein thay ke is dauran mein Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) hamare paas tashreef laye aur farmaya: "Yahudiyon ke paas chalo." Hum Aap ke sath rawana hue, jab hum Bait-ul-Midras pahunche to Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne un ko awaz di: "Aye qawm-e-Yahud! Islam qabool kar lo tum salamti mein rahoge." Unhone kaha: Aye Abul Qasim (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Aap ne hukm pahuncha diya. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Yahi mera irada tha." Phir Aap ne dobara farmaya to unhone kaha: Aye Abul Qasim (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! Aap ne tableegh kar di. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne teesri martaba yahi farmaya: Phir Aap ne unhein warning di aur farmaya: Tumhein maloom hona chahiye ke zameen Allah aur us ke Rasool ki hai aur main tumhein jala-watan karna chahta hoon, tum mein se jis ke paas maal ho usay chahiye ke jala-watan hone se pehle pehle isay farokht kar de ba-surat-e-digar tumhein maloom hona chahiye ke ye zameen Allah aur us ke Rasool ki hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، إِذْ خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : انْطَلِقُوا إِلَى يَهُودَ ، فَخَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى جِئْنَا بَيْتَ الْمِدْرَاسِ ، فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنَادَاهُمْ : يَا مَعْشَرَ يَهُودَ أَسْلِمُوا تَسْلَمُوا ، فَقَالُوا : قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ، فَقَالَ : ذَلِكَ أُرِيدُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَهَا الثَّانِيَةَ ، فَقَالُوا : قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : الثَّالِثَةَ ، فَقَالَ : اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ، وَإِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُجْلِيَكُمْ ، فَمَنْ وَجَدَ مِنْكُمْ بِمَالِهِ شَيْئًا فَلْيَبِعْهُ ، وَإِلَّا فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا الْأَرْضُ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ .
