Narrated `Aisha: Allah's Apostle used to like sweets and also used to like honey, and whenever he finished the `Asr prayer, he used to visit his wives and stay with them. Once he visited Hafsa and remained with her longer than the period he used to stay, so I enquired about it. It was said to me, A woman from her tribe gave her a leather skin containing honey as a present, and she gave some of it to Allah's Apostle to drink. I said, By Allah, we will play a trick on him. So I mentioned the story to Sauda (the wife of the Prophet) and said to her, When he enters upon you, he will come near to you whereupon you should say to him, 'O Allah's Apostle! Have you eaten Maghafir?' He will say, 'No.' Then you say to him, 'What is this bad smell? ' And it would be very hard on Allah's Apostle that a bad smell should be found on his body. He will say, 'Hafsa has given me a drink of honey.' Then you should say to him, 'Its bees must have sucked from the Al-`Urfut (a foul smelling flower).' I too, will tell him the same. And you, O Saifya, say the same. So when the Prophet entered upon Sauda (the following happened). Sauda said, By Him except Whom none has the right to be worshipped, I was about to say to him what you had told me to say while he was still at the gate because of fear from you. But when Allah 's Apostle came near to me, I said to him, 'O Allah's Apostle! Have you eaten Maghafir?' He replied, 'No.' I said, 'What about this smell?' He said, 'Hafsa has given me a drink of honey.' I said, 'Its bees must have sucked Al-`Urfut.' When he entered upon me, I told him the same as that, and when he entered upon Safiya, she too told him the same. So when he visited Hafsa again, she said to him, O Allah's Apostle! Shall I give you a drink of it (honey)? He said, I have no desire for it. Sauda said, Subhan Allah! We have deprived him of it (honey). I said to her, Be quiet!
سیدہ عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ ﷺ میٹھی چیز اور شہد کو بہت پسند کرتے تھے۔ آپ ﷺ جب عصر کی نماز پڑھ لیتے تو اپنی بیویوں کے پاس تشریف لے جاتے اور ان کے قریب ہوتے۔ ایک مرتبہ آپ سیدہ حفصہ ؓ کے گھر گئے، اور ان کے ہاں اس سے زیادہ قیام فرمایا جتنی دیر قیام کا معمول تھا۔ میں نے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو مجھے بتایا گیا کہ اس کی قوم سے ایک عورت نے انہیں پوچھا تو مجھے بتایا گیا کہ اس کی قوم سے ایک عورت نے انہیں ایک کپی شہد بطور ہدیہ بھیجا ہے اور انہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو اس کا شربت پلایا تھا۔ میں نے (اپنے دل میں) کہا: اللہ کی قسم! اب میں آپ کے متعلق ضرور کوئی حیلہ کروں گی، چنانچہ میں نے اس کا ذکر سیدہ سودہ ؓ سے کیا اور انہیں کہا: جب تمہارے پاس آپ ﷺ تشریف لائیں تو آپ کے قریب بھی آئیں گے۔ اس وقت تم نے یہ کہنا ہوگا: اللہ کے رسول! (کیا) شاید آپ نے مغافیر کھایا ہے؟ آپ فرمائیں گے: نہیں۔ تم کہنا: پھر یہ بو کیسی ہے؟ رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ بات بہت ناگوار تھی کہ آپ کے جسم کے کسی حصے سے بو آئے، چنانچہ آپ ﷺ اس کا یہ جواب دیں گے کہ کسی حفصہ نے مجھے شہد پلایا تھا، اس پر ان سے کہنا کہ شاید شہد کی مکھیوں سے عرفط کا رس چوسا ہوگا۔ میں بھی (رسول اللہ ﷺ سے) یہی بات کہوں گی اور صفیہ! تم نے بھی یہی کہنا ہوگا۔ چنانچہ آپ ﷺ جب سیدہ سودہ ؓ کے ہاں تشریف لے گئے تو ان کا بیان ہے: اس ذات کی قسم جس نے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں! تمہارے خوف کی وجہ سے قریب تھا کہ میں اس وقت آپ ﷺ سے یہ بات جلدی میں کہہ دوں جبکہ آپ ابھی دروازے ہی پر تھے۔ آخر جب رسول اللہ ﷺ قریب آئے تو میں نے پوچھا: اللہ کے رسول! آپ نے مغافیر کھایا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”نہیں“ میں نے کہا: پھر یہ بو کیسی ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”مجھے تو حفصہ نے شہد پلایا ہے۔“ میں نے کہا: اس شہد کی مکھیوں نے عرفط کا رس چوسا ہوگا۔ جب آپ ﷺ میرے پاس تشریف لائے تو میں نے بھی ایسے ہی کیا اور سیدہ صفیہ ؓ کے پاس تشریف لے گئے تو انہوں نے کہا:اللہ کے رسول! کیا میں آپ کو شہد کا شربت نہ پلاؤں؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ”مجھے اس کی حاجت نہیں ہے“ اس پر سیدہ سودہ ؓ نے کہا: سبحان اللہ! ہم نے آپ کو شہد سے محروم کر دیا ہے۔ میں نے ان سے کہا: خاموش رہو۔
Sayyidah Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai unhon ne farmaya: Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) meethi cheez aur shehad ko bohat pasand karte thay. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab asr ki namaz parh letay to apni biwiyon ke paas tashreef le jatay aur un ke kareeb hotay. Aik martaba aap Sayyidah Hafsah (Radi Allahu Anha) ke ghar gaye, aur un ke haan is se zyada qayam farmaya jitni dair qayam ka mamool tha. Main ne is ke mutaliq poocha to mujhe bataya gaya ke is ki qoum se aik aurat ne unhein aik kuppi shehad bator hadiya bheja hai aur unhon ne Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko is ka sharbat pilaya tha. Main ne (apne dil mein) kaha: Allah ki qasam! Ab main aap ke mutaliq zaroor koi heela karoon gi, chunancha main ne is ka zikr Sayyidah Saudah (Radi Allahu Anha) se kiya aur unhein kaha: Jab tumhare paas aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) tashreef laayin to aap ke kareeb bhi ayenge. Is waqt tum ne yeh kehna hoga: Allah ke Rasul! (Kya) shayad aap ne maghafeer khaya hai? Aap farmaiye ge: Nahin. Tum kehna: Phir yeh boo kaisi hai? Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko yeh baat bohat nagawar thi ke aap ke jism ke kisi hisse se boo aaye, chunancha aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) is ka yeh jawab dein ge ke kisi Hafsah ne mujhe shehad pilaya tha, is par un se kehna ke shayad shehad ki makkhiyon ne urfut ka ras choosa hoga. Main bhi (Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se) yahi baat kahoon gi aur Safiyah! Tum ne bhi yahi kehna hoga. Chunancha aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab Sayyidah Saudah (Radi Allahu Anha) ke haan tashreef le gaye to un ka bayan hai: Is zaat ki qasam jis ke siwa koi mabood-e-barhaq nahin! Tumhare khauf ki wajah se kareeb tha ke main is waqt aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se yeh baat jaldi mein keh doon jabke aap abhi darwaze hi par thay. Aakhir jab Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) kareeb aaye to main ne poocha: Allah ke Rasul! Aap ne maghafeer khaya hai? Aap ne farmaya: "Nahin" main ne kaha: Phir yeh boo kaisi hai? Aap ne farmaya: "Mujhe to Hafsah ne shehad pilaya hai." Main ne kaha: Is shehad ki makkhiyon ne urfut ka ras choosa hoga. Jab aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) mere paas tashreef laye to main ne bhi aise hi kiya aur Sayyidah Safiyah (Radi Allahu Anha) ke paas tashreef le gaye to unhon ne kaha: Allah ke Rasul! Kya main aap ko shehad ka sharbat na pilaoon? Aap ne farmaya: "Mujhe is ki haajat nahin hai" is par Sayyidah Saudah (Radi Allahu Anha) ne kaha: Subhan Allah! Hum ne aap ko shehad se mahroom kar diya hai. Main ne un se kaha: Khamosh raho.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحِبُّ الْحَلْوَاءَ وَيُحِبُّ الْعَسَلَ ، وَكَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى الْعَصْرَ أَجَازَ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ فَيَدْنُو مِنْهُنَّ ، فَدَخَلَ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ ، فَاحْتَبَسَ عِنْدَهَا أَكْثَرَ مِمَّا كَانَ يَحْتَبِسُ ، فَسَأَلْتُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ ؟ ، فَقَالَ لِي : أَهْدَتْ لَهَا امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ قَوْمِهَا عُكَّةَ عَسَلٍ ، فَسَقَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْهُ شَرْبَةً ، فَقُلْتُ : أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَنَحْتَالَنَّ لَهُ ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِسَوْدَةَ ، قُلْتُ : إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْكِ فَإِنَّهُ سَيَدْنُو مِنْكِ ، فَقُولِي لَهُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَكَلْتَ مَغَافِيرَ ؟ ، فَإِنَّهُ سَيَقُولُ لَا ، فَقُولِي لَهُ : مَا هَذِهِ الرِّيحُ ؟ ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَشْتَدُّ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يُوجَدَ مِنْهُ الرِّيحُ ، فَإِنَّهُ سَيَقُولُ : سَقَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ شَرْبَةَ عَسَلٍ ، فَقُولِي لَهُ : جَرَسَتْ نَحْلُهُ الْعُرْفُطَ ، وَسَأَقُولُ ذَلِكِ ، وَقُولِيهِ أَنْتِ يَا صَفِيَّةُ ، فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ عَلَى سَوْدَةَ ، قُلْتُ : تَقُولُ سَوْدَةُ : وَالَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَقَدْ كِدْتُ أَنْ أُبَادِرَهُ بِالَّذِي قُلْتِ لِي وَإِنَّهُ لَعَلَى الْبَابِ فَرَقًا مِنْكِ ، فَلَمَّا دَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَكَلْتَ مَغَافِيرَ ؟ ، قَالَ : لَا : قُلْتُ : فَمَا هَذِهِ الرِّيحُ ؟ ، قَالَ : سَقَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ شَرْبَةَ عَسَلٍ ، قُلْتُ : جَرَسَتْ نَحْلُهُ الْعُرْفُطَ ، فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ ، قُلْتُ لَهُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ، وَدَخَلَ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ، فَلَمَّا دَخَلَ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ ، قَالَتْ لَهُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَلَا أَسْقِيكَ مِنْهُ ؟ ، قَالَ : لَا حَاجَةَ لِي بِهِ ، قَالَتْ : تَقُولُ سَوْدَةُ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ، لَقَدْ حَرَمْنَاهُ ، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ لَهَا : اسْكُتِي .
