Chapter: While offering the Istisqa' prayer, people should raise hands along with the Imam

باب رَفْعِ النَّاسِ أَيْدِيَهُمْ مَعَ الإِمَامِ فِي الاِسْتِسْقَاءِ

Sahih al-Bukhari 1030

Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) added that the Prophet (صلى هللا عليه و آله وسلم) raised his hands (during the supplication) to such an extent that the whiteness of his armpits was visible.

حضرت انس ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے، وہ نبی ﷺ سے بیان کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے دعا کے لیے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھائے حتی کہ میں نے آپ کی بغلوں کی سفیدی دیکھی۔

Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) hi se riwayat hai, wo Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se bayan karte hain ke Aap ne dua ke liye dono hath uthaye hatta ke mein ne Aap ki baghlon ki safedi dekhi.

وَقَالَ الْأُوَيْسِيُّ : حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَشَرِيكٍ ، سَمِعَا أَنَسًا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ بَيَاضَ إِبْطَيْهِ .
