Sahih al-Bukhari 1058
Narrated `Aisha: In the lifetime of the Prophet the sun eclipsed and the Prophet (p.b.u.h) stood up to offer the prayer with the people and recited a long recitation, then he performed a prolonged bowing, and then lifted his head and recited a prolonged recitation which was shorter than the first. Then he performed a prolonged bowing which was shorter than the first and then lifted his head and performed two prostrations. He then stood up for the second rak`a and offered it like the first. Then he stood up and said, The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of someone's life or death but they are two signs amongst the signs of Allah which He shows to His worshipers. So whenever you see them, make haste for the prayer.
حضرت عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ ﷺ کے عہد مبارک میں سورج گرہن ہوا تو نبی ﷺ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھانے کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے، چنانچہ آپ نے قیام میں طویل قراءت کی، پھر لمبا رکوع فرمایا۔ اس کے بعد جب اپنا سر اٹھایا تو قیام میں پھر لمبی قراءت کی جو پہلی قراءت سے قدرے کم تھی۔ اس کے بعد آپ نے رکوع کیا جو پہلے رکوع سے کچھ مختصر تھا، پھر اپنا سر مبارک اٹھایا اور دو سجدے کیے۔ پھر کھڑے ہوئے تو دوسری رکعت میں بھی اسی طرح کیا۔ اس کے بعد کھڑے ہو کر فرمایا: ’’یہ سورج اور چاند کسی کی موت و حیات کے باعث بے نور نہیں ہوتے بلکہ یہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے دو نشانیاں ہیں جو اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے بندوں کو دکھاتا ہے، جب تم اس قسم کا حادثہ دیکھو تو جلدی نماز کی طرف عاجزی کرتے ہوئے آؤ۔‘‘
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke ahad-e-mubarak mein suraj gahan hua to Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) logon ko namaz parhane ke liye khare hue, chunanche Aap ne qiyam mein taweel qiraat ki, phir lamba ruku farmaya. Is ke baad jab apna sar uthaya to qiyam mein phir lambi qiraat ki jo pehli qiraat se qadray kam thi. Is ke baad Aap ne ruku kiya jo pehle ruku se kuch mukhtasar tha, phir apna sar mubarak uthaya aur do sajde kiye. Phir khare hue to doosri rakat mein bhi isi tarah kiya. Is ke baad khare ho kar farmaya: ''Ye suraj aur chand kisi ki maut-o-hayat ke baais be-noor nahi hote balki ye Allah ki nishaniyon mein se do nishaniyan hain jo Allah Ta'ala apne bandon ko dikhata hai, jab tum is qism ka hadisa dekho to jaldi namaz ki taraf aajzi karte hue aao.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، وَهِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ ، عَنْهَا قَالَتْ : كَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ فَأَطَالَ الْقِرَاءَةَ ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَأَطَالَ الْقِرَاءَةَ وَهِيَ دُونَ قِرَاءَتِهِ الْأُولَى ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ فَأَطَالَ الرُّكُوعَ دُونَ رُكُوعِهِ الْأَوَّلِ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَنَعَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ فَقَالَ : إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَا يَخْسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلَا لِحَيَاتِهِ وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ يُرِيهِمَا عِبَادَهُ ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَافْزَعُوا إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ .
