Chapter: To recite aloud in the eclipse Salat

باب الْجَهْرِ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الْكُسُوفِ

Al-Auza'i and others said that they had heard Az-Zuhri from 'Urwa from `Aisha saying, In the lifetime of Allah's Apostle the sun eclipsed, and he made a person to announce: 'Prayer in congregation.' He led the prayer and performed four bowing and four prostrations in two rak`at. Narrated Al-Walid that `Abdur-Rahman bin Namir had informed him that he had heard the same. Ibn Shihab heard the same. Az-Zuhri said, I asked ('Urwa), 'What did your brother `Abdullah bin Az-Zubair do? He prayed two rak`at (of the eclipse prayer) like the morning prayer, when he offered the (eclipse) prayer in Medina.' 'Urwa replied that he had missed (i.e. did not pray according to) the Prophet's tradition. Sulaiman bin Kathir and Sufyan bin Husain narrated from Az-Zuhri that the prayer for the eclipse used to be offered with loud recitation.
حضرت عائشہ ؓ ہی سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے عہد مبارک میں سورج گرہن ہوا تو آپ نے ایک منادی کرنے والے کو تعینات کیا جو الصلاة جامعة کا اعلان کرتا تھا، چنانچہ رسول اللہ ﷺ آگے بڑھے اور دو رکعات میں چار رکوع اور چار سجدے کیے۔ ولید کہتے ہیں: عبدالرحمٰن بن نمر نے مجھے بتایا کہ انہوں نے بھی امام زہری سے اسی طرح سنا ہے۔ امام زہری ؓ کہتے ہیں: میں نے حضرت عروہ ؓ سے کہا: آپ کے بھائی عبداللہ بن زبیر ؓ نے تو ایسا نہیں کیا تھا۔ انہوں نے جب مدینہ طیبہ میں گرہن کے موقع پر نماز پڑھی تھی تو صبح کی نماز کی طرح صرف دو رکعت ہی ادا کی تھی۔ انہوں نے کہا: ہاں، لیکن ان سے سنت میں خطا سرزد ہو گئی۔ سلیمان بن کثیر اور سفیان بن حسین نے امام زہری سے جہری قراءت کے سلسلے میں ابن نمر کی متابعت کی ہے۔
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anhu) hi se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke ahad-e-mubarak mein suraj gahan hua to Aap ne ek munadi karne wale ko ta'ayyunat kiya jo As-Salatu Jamia ka elaan karta tha, chunanche Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) aage barhe aur do rakaat mein char ruku aur char sajde kiye. Waleed kehte hain: Abdur Rahman bin Namar ne mujhe bataya ke unhon ne bhi Imam Zuhri se isi tarah suna hai. Imam Zuhri (Radi Allahu Anhu) kehte hain: Mein ne Hazrat Urwa (Radi Allahu Anhu) se kaha: Aap ke bhai Abdullah bin Zubair (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne to aisa nahi kiya tha. Unhon ne jab Madinah Tayyiba mein gahan ke mauqe par namaz parhi thi to subah ki namaz ki tarah sirf do rakat hi ada ki thi. Unhon ne kaha: Haan, lekin un se sunnat mein khata sar-zad ho gayi. Sulaiman bin Kaseer aur Sufyan bin Husain ne Imam Zuhri se jahri qiraat ke silsile mein Ibn Namar ki mutabiat ki hai.
وَقَالَ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ : سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّ الشَّمْسَ خَسَفَتْ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَعَثَ مُنَادِيًا بِالصَّلَاةُ جَامِعَةٌ ، فَتَقَدَّمَ ، فَصَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ ، وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَمِرٍ ، سَمِعَ ابْنَ شِهَاب مِثْلَهُ ، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ : فَقُلْتُ : مَا صَنَعَ أَخُوكَ ذَلِكَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ مَا صَلَّى إِلَّا رَكْعَتَيْنِ مِثْلَ الصُّبْحِ إِذْ صَلَّى بِالْمَدِينَةِ ، قَالَ : أَجَلْ إِنَّهُ أَخْطَأَ السُّنَّةَ ، تَابَعَهُ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ ، وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ فِيِ الْجَهْر .
