Sahih al-Bukhari 164
Humran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) (the freed slave of Uthman bin Affanؓ ) said, he saw Uthman bin Affan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) asking (for a tumbler of water) to perform ablution (and when it was brought) he poured water from it over his hands and washed them thrice and then put his right hand in the water container and rinsed his mouth and washed his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out. Then he washed his face thrice and (then) forearms up to the elbows thrice, then passed his wet hands over his head and then washed each foot thrice. After that Uthman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, "I saw the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) performing ablution like this of mine, and he said, 'If anyone performs ablution like that of mine and offers a two raka prayer during which he does not think of anything else, then his past sins will be forgiven. '
حضرت عثمان ؓ کے آزاد کردہ غلام حضرت حمران سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے حضرت عثمان ؓ کو دیکھا کہ انہوں نے وضو کے لیے پانی منگوایا، پھر اسے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں پر ڈالا اور انہیں تین مرتبہ دھویا، اس کے بعد اپنا دایاں ہاتھ برتن میں ڈالا، کلی کی اور ناک میں پانی چڑھایا، پھر اسے صاف کیا۔ بعد ازیں اپنا چہرہ تین مرتبہ دھویا، اپنے دونوں ہاتھ کہنیوں تک تین بار دھوئے، پھر سر کا مسح کیا، پھر ہر پاؤں کو تین دفعہ دھویا۔ اس کے بعد انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے نبی ﷺ کو اپنے اس وضو کی طرح وضو کرتے دیکھا ہے، نیز آپ ﷺ نے یہ بھی فرمایا: ’’جس شخص نے میرے اس وضو کی طرح وضو کیا اور دو رکعت بایں طور پڑھیں کہ اپنے دل سے باتیں نہ کیں تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے سابقہ گناہ معاف کر دے گا۔‘‘
Hazrat Usman (Radi Allahu Anhu) ke azaad kardah Ghulam Hazrat Hamran se riwayat hai, unhon ne Hazrat Usman (Radi Allahu Anhu) ko dekha ke unhon ne wudu ke liye paani mangwaya, phir use apne donon haathon par dala aur unhein teen martaba dhoya, iske baad apna daayan haath bartan mein dala, kulli ki aur naak mein paani chadhaya, phir use saaf kiya. Baad azan apna chehra teen martaba dhoya, apne donon haath kohniyon tak teen baar dhoye, phir sar ka masah kiya, phir har paon ko teen dafa dhoya. Iske baad unhon ne farmaya: Maine Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ko apne is wudu ki tarah wudu karte dekha hai, neeiz Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne yeh bhi farmaya: "Jis shakhs ne mere is wudu ki tarah wudu kiya aur do rakaat ba'in taur padhin ke apne dil se baatein na kin toh Allah Ta'ala uske saabiqa gunah mu'af kar dega."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ حُمْرَانَ مَوْلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّان دَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ ، فَأَفْرَغَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ مِنْ إِنَائِهِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ، ثُمَّ أَدْخَلَ يَمِينَهُ فِي الْوَضُوءِ ، ثُمَّ تَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ وَاسْتَنْثَرَ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ، ثُمَّ غَسَلَ كُلَّ رِجْلٍ ثَلَاثًا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا ، وَقَالَ : مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَا يُحَدِّثُ فِيهِمَا نَفْسَهُ ، غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ .
