Chapter: A menstruating woman can perform all the ceremonies of Hajj except Tawaf

باب تَقْضِي الْحَائِضُ الْمَنَاسِكَ كُلَّهَا إِلاَّ الطَّوَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ ، وَإِذَا سَعَى عَلَى غَيْرِ وُضُوءٍ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ

Sahih al-Bukhari 1650
Narrated `Aisha: I was menstruating when I reached Mecca. So, I neither performed Tawaf of the Ka`ba, nor the Tawaf between Safa and Marwa. Then I informed Allah's Apostle about it. He replied, Perform all the ceremonies of Hajj like the other pilgrims, but do not perform Tawaf of the Ka`ba till you get clean (from your menses).
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے فرمایا کہ جب میں حج کے لیے مکہ آئی تو میں حیض سے تھی، اس لیے میں بیت اللہ کا طواف اور صفا ومروہ کی سعی نہ کرسکی۔ فرماتی ہیں: میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے اس کی شکایت کی تو آپﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’دیگر حاجیوں کی طرح ارکان حج ادا کرتی رہو لیکن بیت اللہ کا طواف نہ کرو حتیٰ کہ حیض سے پاک ہوجاؤ۔‘‘
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya ke jab main hajj ke liye Makka aai to main haiz se thi, is liye main Baitullah ka tawaf aur Safa o Marwa ki sai na kar saki. Farmati hain: Main ne Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se is ki shikayat ki to Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: ''Digar hajiyon ki tarah arkan-e-hajj ada karti raho lekin Baitullah ka tawaf na karo hatta ke haiz se paak ho jao.'"
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : قَدِمْتُ مَكَّةَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَلَمْ أَطُفْ بِالْبَيْتِ وَلَا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ , قَالَتْ : فَشَكَوْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : افْعَلِي كَمَا يَفْعَلُ الْحَاجُّ ، غَيْرَ أَنْ لَا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ حَتَّى تَطْهُرِي .
