Sahih al-Bukhari 306
Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that Fatima bint Abi Hubaish ( رضي الله تعالى عنها) said to Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), "O Allah's Apostle ( صلى هللا عليه وآله وسلم)! I do not become clean (from bleeding). Shall I give up my prayers?" Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) replied: "No, because it is from a blood vessel and not the menses. So when the real menses begins give up your prayers and when it (the period) has finished wash the blood off your body (take a bath) and offer your prayers."
حضرت عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے فرمایا: فاطمہ بنت ابی حبیش ؓ نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے عرض کیا: اے اللہ کے رسول! مجھے پاکی حاصل نہیں ہوتی، کیا میں نماز چھوڑ دوں؟ تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’یہ ایک رگ کا خون ہے، حیض نہیں، لہذا جب حیض آئے تو نماز چھوڑ دو اور جب حیض کے ایام گزر جائیں تو خود سے خون دھو ڈالو، یعنی غسل کرو اور نماز پڑھو۔‘‘
Hazrat Aisha (Razi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai, unho ne farmaya: Fatima bint Abi Hubaish (Razi Allahu Anha) ne Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) se arz kiya: Aye Allah ke Rasul! Mujhe paki hasil nahin hoti, kya mein namaz chhor doon? To Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Yeh aik rag ka khoon hai, haiz nahin, lehaza jab haiz aaye to namaz chhor do aur jab haiz ke ayyam guzar jaen to khud se khoon dho daalo, yani ghusal karo aur namaz parho."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : قَالَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي حُبَيْشٍ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنِّي لَا أَطْهُرُ أَفَأَدَعُ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّمَا ذَلِكِ عِرْقٌ وَلَيْسَ بِالْحَيْضَةِ ، فَإِذَا أَقْبَلَتِ الْحَيْضَةُ فَاتْرُكِي الصَّلَاةَ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ قَدْرُهَا فَاغْسِلِي عَنْكِ الدَّمَ وَصَلِّي .
