Sahih al-Bukhari 3457
Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the people mentioned the fire or the bell (as means proposed for announcing the time of prayer) and by such a suggestion they referred to the Jews and the Christians. But Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was ordered, ‘pronounce the words of the Adhan (call for the prayer) twice and the Iqama once only.’
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے فرمایا: (نماز کے اعلان کے لیے) صحابہ کرام ؓ نے آگ جلانےاور ناقوس بجانے کا مشورہ دیا۔ کچھ حضرات نے کہا: یہ تو یہود و نصاریٰ کا طریقہ ہے تو حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو حکم دیا گیا کہ اذان میں کلمات دو دو بار اور اقامت میں ایک ایک بار کہیں۔
Hazrat Anas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne farmaya: (Namaz ke elaan ke liye) Sahaba-e-Karam (Radi Allahu Anhum) ne aag jalane aur naqoos bajane ka mashwara diya. Kuch hazraat ne kaha: Ye to Yahood-o-Nasara ka tareeqa hai to Hazrat Bilal (Radi Allahu Anhu) ko hukm diya gaya ke azan mein kalmat do do baar aur iqamat mein ek ek baar kahein.
حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : ذَكَرُوا النَّارَ وَالنَّاقُوسَ فَذَكَرُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى فَأُمِرَ بِلَالٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الْأَذَانَ وَأَنْ يُوتِرَ الْإِقَامَةَ .
