Chapter: The story of the Ethiopians
١٥
باب قِصَّةِ الْحَبَشِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 3530
Aisha added, I was being screened by the Prophet while I was watching the Ethiopians playing in the Mosque. `Umar rebuked them, but the Prophet said, Leave them, O Bani Arfida! Play. (for) you are safe.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا ہی کا بیان ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو دیکھا، آپ مجھے پردے میں رکھے ہوئے تھے اور میں حبشی جوانوں کو دیکھ رہی تھی جو مسجد میں نیزوں کا کھیل کررہے تھے۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے انھیں ڈانٹا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ’’انھیں کچھ نہ کہو۔ اے بنو ارفدہ!تم بے فکر ہو کر اپنا کھیل جاری رکھو۔‘‘
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) hi ka bayan hai ke mein ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ko dekha, Aap mujhe parde mein rakhe hue the aur mein Habshi jawanon ko dekh rahi thi jo masjid mein nezon ka khel kar rahe the. Hazrat Umar (Radi Allahu Anhu) ne inhein danta to Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) ne farmaya: "Inhein kuch na kaho. Aye Banu Arfadah! Tum be-fikr ho kar apna khel jari rakho."
وَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتُرُنِي وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْحَبَشَةِ وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَزَجَرَهُمْ عُمَرُ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : دَعْهُمْ أَمْنًا بَنِي أَرْفِدَةَ يَعْنِي مِنَ الْأَمْنِ .
