Chapter: whoever offered Salat (prayer) with furnace or fire or any other worshipable thing in front of him but he intended Salat solely for Allah

باب مَنْ صَلَّى وَقُدَّامَهُ تَنُّورٌ أَوْ نَارٌ أَوْ شَىْءٌ مِمَّا يُعْبَدُ، فَأَرَادَ بِهِ اللَّهَ

Sahih al-Bukhari 431
Abdullah bin Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the sun eclipsed and Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) offered the eclipse prayer and said, "I have been shown the Hellfire (now) and I never saw a worse and horrible sight than the sight I have seen today."
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے، انھوں نے کہا: ایک دفعہ سورج کو گرہن لگا تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے نماز پڑھائی، پھر فرمایا: ’’مجھے نماز کی حالت میں جہنم دکھائی گئی، چنانچہ میں نے آج کی طرح کا ہیبت ناک منظرکبھی نہیں دیکھا۔‘‘
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Ek dafa sooraj ko grahan laga to Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne namaz parhayi, phir farmaya: ''Mujhe namaz ki haalat mein Jahannum dikhayi gayi, chunancha mein ne aaj ki tarah ka haibat naak manzar kabhi nahi dekha.''
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : انْخَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : أُرِيتُ النَّارَ ، فَلَمْ أَرَ مَنْظَرًا كَالْيَوْمِ قَطُّ أَفْظَعَ .
