باب حَجَّةُ الْوَدَاعِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 4403
No doubt,! Allah has made your blood and your properties sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this town of yours, in this month of yours. The Prophet added: No doubt! Haven't I conveyed Allah's Message to you? They replied, Yes, The Prophet said thrice, O Allah! Be witness for it. The Prophet added, Woe to you! (or said), May Allah be merciful to you! Do not become infidels after me (i.e. my death) by cutting the necks (throats) of one another.
حضرات خبردار! بےشک اللہ تعالٰی نے تم پر تمہارے خون اور تمہارے مال اس طرح حرام کر رکھے ہیں جس طرح اس دن کی حرمت اس شہر اور اس مہینے میں ہے۔ ’’خبردار! کیا میں نے تمہیں احکام شریعت پہنچ دیے ہیں؟‘‘ سب نے کہا: ہاں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ’’اے اللہ! گواہ رہنا۔‘‘ یہ تین مرتبہ فرمایا۔ ’’افسوس! دیکھنا میرے بعد پھر کافروں جیسے کام نہ شروع کر دینا کہ ایک دوسرے کی گردنیں کاٹنا شروع کر دو۔‘‘
"Hazrat khabardar! beshak Allah Ta'ala ne tum par tumhare khoon aur tumhare maal is tarah haram kar rakkhe hain jis tarah is din ki hurmat is shehar aur is mahine mein hai." "Khabardar! kya main ne tumhein ahkam-e-shariat pahuncha diye hain?" Sab ne kaha: haan. Aap ne farmaya: "Ae Allah! gawah rehna." Yeh teen martaba farmaya. "Afsos! dekhna mere baad phir kafiron jaise kaam na shuru kar dena ke ek dusre ki gardanein kaatna shuru kar do."
أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا ، فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا ، فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا ، أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ ؟ قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ اشْهَدْ ثَلَاثًا وَيْلَكُمْ أَوْ وَيْحَكُمْ ، انْظُرُوا لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ .
