Chapter: The sickness of the Prophet (saws) and his death
٨٣
بَابُ مَرَضِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَوَفَاتِهِ
Sahih al-Bukhari 4428
Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) in his ailment in which he died, used to say, ‘O Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها)! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison.’
حضرت عائشہ ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ اپنی اس بیماری میں فرمایا کرتے تھے جس میں آپ کی وفات ہوئی: ’’اے عائشہ! اس کھانے کا درد میں برابر محسوس کر رہا ہوں جو میں نے غزوہ خیبر کے وقت کھایا تھا۔ اس وقت میں اس زہر کے سبب اپنی شہ رگ کٹنی ہوئی محسوس کرتا ہوں۔‘‘
Hazrat Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha ke Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) apni is bimari mein farmaya karte the jis mein Aap ki wafat hui: ''Ae Aisha! is khane ka dard main barabar mehsoos kar raha hoon jo main ne Ghazwa-e-Khaibar ke waqt khaya tha. Is waqt main is zehar ke sabab apni sheh-rag kat-ti hui mehsoos karta hoon.''"
وَقَالَ يُونُسُ : عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ عُرْوَةُ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ : يَا عَائِشَةُ ، مَا أَزَالُ أَجِدُ أَلَمَ الطَّعَامِ الَّذِي أَكَلْتُ بِخَيْبَرَ ، فَهَذَا أَوَانُ وَجَدْتُ انْقِطَاعَ أَبْهَرِي مِنْ ذَلِكَ السُّمِّ .
