Sahih al-Bukhari 4839
Al-Bara (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that while a man from the companions of the Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) was reciting (Quran) and his horse was tied in the house, the horse got startled and started jumping. The man came out, looked around but could not find anything, yet the horse went on jumping. The next morning, he mentioned that to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘that was the tranquility (calmness) which descended because of the recitation of the Qur'an.’
حضرت براء ؓ سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا: نبی ﷺ کا ایک صحابی قرآن پڑھ رہا تھا جبکہ اس کا گھوڑا بھی وہاں حویلی میں بندھا ہوا تھا۔ اچانک وہ (گھوڑا) بدکنے لگا۔ اس آدمی نے باہر نکل کر دیکھا تو اسے کچھ نظر نہ آیا لیکن گھوڑا مسلسل بدکتا رہا۔ جب صبح ہوئی تو اس نے نبی ﷺ کے سامنے تذکرہ کیا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: ’’یہ تو سکینت تھی جو قرآن کی بدولت نازل ہوئی تھی۔‘‘
Hazrat Bara (Radiyallahu Anhu) se riwayat hai, unhon ne kaha: Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka ek sahabi Quran padh raha tha jabke us ka ghoda bhi wahan haweli mein bandha hua tha. Achanak woh (ghoda) badakne laga. Us aadmi ne baahar nikal kar dekha to usay kuch nazar na aaya lekin ghoda musalsal badakta raha. Jab subah hui to us ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke saamne tazkira kiya. Aap ne farmaya: ''Yeh to sakeenat thi jo Quran ki badaulat nazil hui thi.''
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ وَفَرَسٌ لَهُ مَرْبُوطٌ فِي الدَّارِ ، فَجَعَلَ يَنْفِرُ ، فَخَرَجَ الرَّجُلُ ، فَنَظَرَ ، فَلَمْ يَرَ شَيْئًا ، وَجَعَلَ يَنْفِرُ ، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ ذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : السَّكِينَةُ تَنَزَّلَتْ بِالْقُرْآنِ .
