Chapter: In severe heat, offer Zuhr prayers when it becomes (a bit) cooler

باب الإِبْرَادِ بِالظُّهْرِ فِي شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ
Sahih al-Bukhari 537
The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So Allah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold.
۔(حضرت ابوہریرہ ؓ ہی سے مروی حدیث کا حصہ ہے کہ ) آگ نے اپنے پروردگار سے شکایت کی: اے میرے رب! (گرمی کی شدت کا) میرا ایک حصہ دوسرے ککو کھائے جا رہا ہے، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے اسے دو مرتبہ سانس لینے کی اجازت دی۔ ایک سانس سردی کے موسم میں اور دوسرا گرمی کے دنوں میں۔ اس وجہ سے تمہیں موسم گر میں سخت گرمی اور موسم سر میں سخت سردی محسوس ہوتی ہے۔
(Hazrat Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) hi se marwi hadeeth ka hissa hai ke) Aag ne apne Parwardigar se shikayat ki: Ay mere Rabb! (garmi ki shiddat ka) mera ek hissa doosre ko khaye ja raha hai, to Allah Ta'ala ne ise do martaba saans lene ki ijazat di. Ek saans sardi ke mausam mein aur doosra garmi ke dinon mein. Is wajah se tumhein mausam-e-garma mein sakht garmi aur mausam-e-sarma mein sakht sardi mehsoos hoti hai.
وَاشْتَكَتِ النَّارُ إِلَى رَبِّهَا ، فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَبِّ أَكَلَ بَعْضِي بَعْضًا ، فَأَذِنَ لَهَا بِنَفَسَيْنِ نَفَسٍ فِي الشِّتَاءِ وَنَفَسٍ فِي الصَّيْفِ ، فَهُوَ أَشَدُّ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنَ الْحَرِّ ، وَأَشَدُّ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنَ الزَّمْهَرِيرِ .
