Sahih al-Bukhari 5896
Narrated IsraiI: `Uthman bin `Abdullah bin Mauhab said, My people sent me with a bowl of water to Um Salama. Isra'il approximated three fingers ('indicating the small size of the container in which there was some hair of the Prophet. `Uthman added, If any person suffered from evil eye or some other disease, he would send a vessel (containing water) to Um Salama. I looked into the container (that held the hair of the Prophet) and saw a few red hairs in it,
حضرت عثمان بن عبداللہ بن موہب سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے گھر والوں نے سیدہ ام سلمہ ؓ کے پاس پانی کی ایک پیالی دے کر بھیجا۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ راوئ حدیث اسرائیل نے اپنی انگلیاں بند کر لیں، یعنی وہ پیالی بہت چھوٹی تھی۔ ۔ ۔ ۔ اس میں ایک گچھا تھا جس میں نبی ﷺ کے موئے مبارک تھے جب کسی انسان کو نظر لگ جاتی یا اور کوئی بیماری ہوتی تو وہ سیدہ ام سلمہ ؓ کے پاس پانی کا برتن بھیج دیتا۔ (حضرت عثمان بن موہب کہتے ہیں: ) میں نے اس ڈبیہ میں جھانکا تو مجھے چند ایک سرخ بال دکھائی دیے۔
Hazrat Uthman bin Abdullah bin Mauhab se riwayat hai unhone kaha ke mujhe ghar walon ne Sayyidah Umm-e-Salma (Radi Allahu Anha) ke paas paani ki ek piyali de kar bheja. . . . . Rawi-e-hadees Isra'eel ne apni ungliyan band kar lien, yaani wo piyali bahut chhoti thi. . . . is mein ek guchha tha jis mein Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke mooye mubarak thay jab kisi insaan ko nazar lag jati ya aur koi beemari hoti to wo Sayyidah Umm-e-Salma (Radi Allahu Anha) ke paas paani ka bartan bhej deta. (Hazrat Uthman bin Mauhab kehte hain: ) Mein ne is dibbiya mein jhaanka to mujhe chand ek surkh baal dikhayi diye.
حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ ، قَالَ : أَرْسَلَنِي أَهْلِي إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَدَحٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ ، وَقَبَضَ إِسْرَائِيلُ ثَلَاثَ أَصَابِعَ مِنْ قُصَّةٍ فِيهِ شَعَرٌ مِنْ شَعَرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَكَانَ إِذَا أَصَابَ الْإِنْسَانَ عَيْنٌ أَوْ شَيْءٌ بَعَثَ إِلَيْهَا مِخْضَبَهُ فَاطَّلَعْتُ فِي الْجُلْجُلِ فَرَأَيْتُ شَعَرَاتٍ حُمْرًا
