Sahih al-Bukhari 6854
Sahl bin Sa`d (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he witnessed the case of Lian, the case of a man who charged his wife for committing illegal sexual intercourse when I was fifteen years old. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ordered that they be divorced, and the husband said, ‘if I kept her, I would be a liar.’ I remember that Az-Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) also said, ‘it was said that if that woman brought forth the child with such-and-such description, her husband would prove truthful, but if she brought it with such-and-such description looking like a Wahra (a red insect), he would prove untruthful.’ I heard Az-Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) also saying, ‘finally she gave birth to a child of description which her husband disliked.’
حضرت سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے دو لعان کرنے والوں کو دیکھا تھا۔ اس وقت میری عمر پندرہ سال تھی۔ آپ ﷺ نے دونوں کے درمیان جدائی کرا دی تھی۔ شوہر نے کہا تھا: اگر اب بھی میں اپنی بیوی کو اپنے ساتھ رکھوں تو اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ میں جھوٹا ہوں۔ سفیان بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے زہری سے روایت بایں الفاظ محفوظ رکھی: اگر اس عورت کے ہاں ایسا ایسا بچہ پیدا ہوا تو شوہر سچا ہے اور اگر اس کے ہاں ایسا ایسا بچہ پیدا ہوا جیسے چھپکلی ہوتی ہے تو شوہر جھوٹا ہے۔ میں نے زہری سے سنا وہ کہتے تھے کہ اس عورت نے مکروہ حال والے بچے کو جنم دیا تھا۔
Hazrat Sahl bin Saad (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai unhone farmaya: Main ne do li'aan karne walon ko dekha tha. Is waqt meri umr pandrah saal thi. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne dono ke darmiyan judayi kara di thi. Shohar ne kaha tha: Agar ab bhi main apni biwi ko apne sath rakkhoon to is ka matlab ye hai ke main jhoota hoon. Sufyan bayan karte hain ke main ne Zuhri se riwayat ba-een alfaz mahfooz rakkhi: Agar is aurat ke haan aisa aisa bacha paida hua to shohar sacha hai aur agar is ke haan aisa aisa bacha paida hua jaise chipkali hoti hai to shohar jhoota hai. Main ne Zuhri se suna wo kehte thay ke is aurat ne makrooh haal wale bachay ko janam diya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : شَهِدْتُ الْمُتَلَاعِنَيْنِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً فَرَّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا ، فَقَالَ زَوْجُهَا : كَذَبْتُ عَلَيْهَا إِنْ أَمْسَكْتُهَا ، قَالَ : فَحَفِظْتُ ذَاكَ مِنَ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، إِنْ جَاءَتْ بِهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَهُوَ ، وَإِنْ جَاءَتْ بِهِ كَذَا وَكَذَا كَأَنَّهُ وَحَرَةٌ فَهُوَ ، وَسَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ يَقُولُ : جَاءَتْ بِهِ لِلَّذِي يُكْرَهُ .
