Sahih al-Bukhari 6974
Amir bin Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas narrated that he heard Usama bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) speaking to Sa`d (رضي الله تعالى عنه), saying, ‘Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mentioned the plague and said, 'it is a means of punishment with which some nations were punished and some of it has remained, and it appears now and then. So, whoever hears that there is an outbreak of plague in some land, he should not go to that land, and if the plague breaks out in the land where one is already present, one should not run away from that land, to escape from the plague.’
حضرت سعد بن ابی وقاص ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے طاعون کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے فرمایا: ”یہ ایک عذاب ہے جس کے زریعے سے بعض امتوں کو عذاب دیا گیا تھا۔ اس کے بعد کچھ حصہ باقی رہ گیا تھا جو کبھی آتا ہے اور کبھی چلا جاتا ہے۔ جو کوئی کسی سرزمین میں اس کے پھیلنے کے متعلق سنے تو وہاں نہ جائے،لیکن اگر کوئی کسی مقام پر ہو اور وہاں یہ وبا پھوٹ پڑے تو وہاں سے بھاگنےکی کوشش نہ کرے۔“
Hazrat Saad bin Abi Waqas (Radi Allahu Anhu) se riwayat hai ke aik martaba Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne taun ka zikr karte huye farmaya: "Yeh aik azab hai jis ke zariay se baaz ummaton ko azab diya gaya tha. Is ke baad kuch hissa baqi reh gaya tha jo kabhi aata hai aur kabhi chala jata hai. Jo koi kisi sarzameen mein is ke phailne ke mutaliq sune to wahan na jaye, lekin agar koi kisi maqam par ho aur wahan yeh waba phoot paray to wahan se bhagne ki koshish na kare."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ سَعْدًا ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ الْوَجَعَ ، فَقَالَ : رِجْزٌ أَوْ عَذَابٌ عُذِّبَ بِهِ بَعْضُ الْأُمَمِ ثُمَّ بَقِيَ مِنْهُ بَقِيَّةٌ ، فَيَذْهَبُ الْمَرَّةَ وَيَأْتِي الْأُخْرَى ، فَمَنْ سَمِعَ بِهِ بِأَرْضٍ ، فَلَا يُقْدِمَنَّ عَلَيْهِ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَقَعَ بِهَا ، فَلَا يَخْرُجْ فِرَارًا مِنْهُ .
