Sahih al-Bukhari 7287
Narrated Asma' bint Abu Bakr: I came to `Aisha during the solar eclipse. The people were standing (offering prayer) and she too, was standing and offering prayer. I asked, What is wrong with the people? She pointed towards the sky with her hand and said, Subhan Allah!'' I asked her, Is there a sign? She nodded with her head meaning, yes. When Allah's Apostle finished (the prayer), he glorified and praised Allah and said, There is not anything that I have not seen before but I have seen now at this place of mine, even Paradise and Hell. It has been revealed to me that you people will be put to trial nearly like the trial of Ad-Dajjal, in your graves. As for the true believer or a Muslim (the sub-narrator is not sure as to which of the two (words Asma' had said) he will say, 'Muhammad came with clear signs from Allah, and we responded to him (accepted his teachings) and believed (what he said)' It will be said (to him) 'Sleep in peace; we have known that you were a true believer who believed with certainty.' As for a hypocrite or a doubtful person, (the sub-narrator is not sure as to which word Asma' said) he will say, 'I do not know, but I heard the people saying something and so I said the same.'
سیدنا اسماء بنت ابی بکر ؓ سے روایت ہے انہوں نے کہا: ایک دفعہ جب سورج گرہن ہوا تو میں سید ہ عائشہ ؓ کے پاس آئی اور لوگ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے اور سیدہ عائشہ ؓ بھی کھڑی نماز پڑھ رہی تھیں۔ میں نے کہا: لوگوں کا کیا حال ہے (کہ بے وقت نماز پڑھ رہے ہیں؟ تو انہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ سے آسمان کی طرف اشارہ فرمایا اور سبحان اللہ کہا۔ میں نے کہا کوئی نشانی ہے؟ انہوں نے سے اشارہ کیا کہ ہاں۔ پھر جب رسول اللہ ﷺ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو آپ نے اللہ تعالیٰ کی حمد وثناء کی اور فرمایا: کوئی چیز ایسی نہیں جسے میں نے (اب تک) نہیں دیکھا تھا مگر اس جگہ کھڑے ہوئے اسے دیکھا ہے یہاں تک کہ میں نے جنت اور دوزخ بھی دیکھی ہے۔ میری طرف وحی گئی کہ تمہارا قبروں میں امتحان ہوگا اور دجال کے فتنے کے قریب قریب ہوگا۔ بہرحال مومن۔۔۔۔۔یا مسلمان، میں نہیں جانتی اسماء ؓ نے ان میں سے کون سا لفظ کہا تھا۔۔۔ (وہ قبر میں فرشتوں کے سوال پر) کہے گا: یہ محمد ﷺ اللہ کے رسول ہیں جو ہمارے پاس روشن نشانات لے کر آئے تھے۔ ہم نے ان کی دعوت کو قبول کیا اور ایمان لائے۔ اسے کہا جائے گا: آرام سے سو جاؤ۔۔۔۔ ہمیں معلوم تھا کہ تم مومن ہو۔ پھر منافق ۔۔۔یا شک کرنے والا میں نہیں جانتی کہ اسماء رضی اللہ عنہا نے کون سا لفظ کہا۔۔۔۔۔تو وہ کہے گا: میں نہیں جانتا۔ میں نے جو کہتے ہوئے سنا وہی میں نے بک دیا تھا۔
Sayyidah Asma bint Abi Bakr (Radi Allahu Anha) se riwayat hai unhone kaha: Ek dafa jab sooraj garhan hua to main Sayyidah Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) ke paas aayi aur log namaz parh rahe thay aur Sayyidah Aisha (Radi Allahu Anha) bhi khari namaz parh rahi thin. Main ne kaha: Logon ka kya haal hai (ke be-waqt namaz parh rahe hain?) to unhone apne hath se aasman ki taraf ishara farmaya aur SubhanAllah kaha. Main ne kaha koi nishani hai? Unhone ishara kiya ke haan. Phir jab Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) namaz se farigh huay to Aap ne Allah Ta'ala ki hamd-o-sana ki aur farmaya: Koi cheez aisi nahi jisay main ne (ab tak) nahi dekha tha magar is jagah kharay huay isay dekha hai yahan tak ke main ne jannat aur dozakh bhi dekhi hai. Meri taraf wahy ki gayi ke tumhara qabron mein imtihan hoga aur Dajjal ke fitne ke qareeb qareeb hoga. Bahar-haal momin... ya Musalman, main nahi janti Asma (Radi Allahu Anha) ne un mein se kaun sa lafz kaha tha... (woh qabr mein farishton ke sawal par) kahe ga: Yeh Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Allah ke Rasool hain jo hamare paas roshan nishanat le kar aaye thay. Hum ne un ki dawat ko qabool kiya aur iman laye. Isay kaha jaye ga: Aaram se so jao... humein maloom tha ke tum momin ho. Phir munafiq... ya shakk karne wala main nahi janti ke Asma (Radi Allahu Anha) ne kaun sa lafz kaha... to woh kahe ga: Main nahi janta. Main ne jo kehte huay suna wahi main ne bak diya tha.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : أَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ حِينَ خَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَالنَّاسُ قِيَامٌ وَهِيَ قَائِمَةٌ تُصَلِّي ، فَقُلْتُ مَا لِلنَّاسِ ، فَأَشَارَتْ بِيَدِهَا نَحْوَ السَّمَاءِ ، فَقَالَتْ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ، فَقُلْتُ آيَةٌ ، قَالَتْ بِرَأْسِهَا : أَنْ نَعَمْ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ لَمْ أَرَهُ إِلَّا وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ فِي مَقَامِي هَذَا حَتَّى الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ ، وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّكُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ قَرِيبًا مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ ، فَأَمَّا الْمُؤْمِنُ أَوِ الْمُسْلِمُ لَا أَدْرِي أَيَّ ذَلِكَ ، قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ : فَيَقُولُ مُحَمَّدٌ : جَاءَنَا بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَأَجَبْنَاهُ وَآمَنَّا ، فَيُقَالُ : نَمْ صَالِحًا عَلِمْنَا أَنَّكَ مُوقِنٌ ، وَأَمَّا الْمُنَافِقُ أَوِ الْمُرْتَابُ لَا أَدْرِي أَيَّ ذَلِكَ ، قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ : فَيَقُولُ : لَا أَدْرِي سَمِعْتُ النَّاسَ يَقُولُونَ شَيْئًا فَقُلْتُهُ .
