It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "When a man sits between the four limbs of a woman, then has intercourse, then ghusl (ritual bath) becomes obligatory upon him.” (Meaning, if he attempts intercourse while sitting between her four limbs - her arms and legs wrapped around him - then ghusl becomes obligatory).

سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب مرد عورت کی چاروں شاخوں کے درمیان بیٹھے، پھر جماع کرے، تو اس پر غسل واجب ہوگیا۔“ (یعنی چار زانو پر بیٹھ کر جماع کے لئے کوشش کرے تو غسل واجب ہو گیا)۔
Sayyidna Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai, Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jab mard aurat ki chaaron shakhon ke darmiyaan baithe, phir jima kare, to us par ghusl wajib ho gaya." (yani chaar zanu par baith kar jima ke liye koshish kare to ghusl wajib ho gaya).
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِذَا جَلَسَ بَيْنَ شُعَبِهَا الْأَرْبَعِ، ثُمَّ جَهَدَهَا، فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ".
