It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the selling of shares before their distribution.

سیدنا ابوامامہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے حصوں کو تقسیم سے پہلے بیچنے سے منع فرمایا۔
Sayyidina Abu Umama (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hisson ko taqseem se pehle bechne se mana farmaya.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حُمْيَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ، وَمَكْحُولٍ , عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:"أَنَّهُ نَهَى أَنْ تُبَاعَ السِّهَامُ حَتَّى تُقْسَم".
