It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave three shares of the spoils (of war) to the horseman and one share to the foot soldier on the day of Khaybar.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے خیبر کے دن گھوڑ سوار کو تین اور پیدل کو ایک حصہ (غنیمت میں سے) دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Khaibar ke din ghor sawar ko teen aur paidal ko ek hissa (ghanimat mein se) diya.
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَازِمٍ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "أَسْهَمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ لِلْفَارِسِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَسْهُمٍ، وَلِلرَّاجِلِ سَهْمًا".
