It is narrated from Imam Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) about husband, mother, and real and maternal brothers, he said: Sayyiduna Umar, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud, and Sayyiduna Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them) all used to include brothers in the share of inheritance, and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The father brings the real brothers closer than the maternal brothers.

امام ابراہیم نخعی رحمہ اللہ سے شوہر، ماں اور حقیقی و مادری بھائیوں کے بارے میں مروی ہے، انہوں نے کہا: سیدنا عمر، سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود اور سیدنا زید رضی اللہ عنہم سب بھائیوں کو وراثت کے حصہ میں شریک کرتے تھے اور سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ: باپ حقیقی بھائیوں کو مادری بھائیوں سے قریب کر دیتا ہے۔
Imam Ibrahim Nakhaie rehmatullah alaihe se shauhar, maan aur haqeeqi wa madri bhaiyon ke bare mein marvi hai, unhon ne kaha: Sayyiduna Umar, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Masood aur Sayyiduna Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) sab bhaiyon ko wirasat ke hissa mein sharik karte the aur Sayyiduna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha ke: baap haqeeqi bhaiyon ko madri bhaiyon se qareeb kar deta hai.
(حديث موقوف) حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، وَالْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ: فِي زَوْجٍ، وَأُمٍّ، وَإِخْوَةٍ لِأَبٍ وَأُم، وَإِخْوَةٍ لِأُمٍّ، قَالَ: كَانَ عُمَر، وَعَبْدُ اللَّه، ِوَزَيْدٌ يُشَرِّكُونَ، وَقَالَ عُمَرُ:"لَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ الْأَبُ إِلَّا قُرْبًا".
