Ibrahim (peace be upon him) said: "When a man bequeaths something to another man, and that man is not present, then it is found that he (the beneficiary) had already died, then the bequest returns (to the bequeather's estate)."

ابراہیم رحمہ اللہ نے کہا: جب کوئی آدمی کسی انسان کے لئے وصیت کرے اور وہ موجود نہ ہو، پھر پتہ چلے کہ وہ تو مر چکا ہے، ایسی صورت میں وصیت (وصیت کرنے والے کی طرف) لوٹ جائے گی۔
Ibraheem rehmatullah alaih ne kaha: Jab koi aadmi kisi insaan ke liye wasiyat kare aur wo mojood na ho, phir pata chale ki wo to mar chuka hai, aisi soorat mein wasiyat (wasiyat karne wale ki taraf) laut jayegi.
(حديث مقطوع) حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ شعبة، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: "إِذَا أَوْصَى الرَّجُلُ لِإِنْسَانٍ، وَهُوَ غَائِبٌ، وَكَانَ مَيِّتًا، وَهُوَ لَا يَدْرِي، فَهِيَ رَاجِعَةٌ".
