It is narrated on the authority of Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) that Sayyiduna Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) bequeathed four thousand for the mothers of his children, four thousand for each of them.

حسن رحمہ اللہ سے مروی ہے کہ سیدنا عمر بن الخطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنی اولاد کی ماؤں کے لئے چار ہزار کی وصیت کی، ان میں سے ہر ایک عورت کے لئے چار ہزار کی۔
Hasan rahmatullah alaih se marvi hai ki sayyidna Umar bin al khattab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne apni aulad ki maon ke liye chaar hazar ki wasiyat ki, in mein se har ek aurat ke liye chaar hazar ki.
(حديث موقوف) أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ: أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ "أَوْصَى لِأُمَّهَاتِ أَوْلَادِهِ بِأَرْبَعَةِ آلَافٍ، أَرْبَعَةِ آلَافٍ، لِكُلِّ امْرَأَةٍ مِنْهُنَّ".
